The developer of blockchain farming sim CropBytes has officially launched the litepaper for their upcoming Conquest game, a PvP world-building title that is now open for beta registrations.
Beta Details
The beta version of the upcoming Web3 title in the CropBytes ecosystem is planned to go live at the end of this month. It is set to represent phase 1 of 2 of the game’s launch, with this first phase allowing players to experience strategic PvP gameplay. By playing this PvP-focused phase, you will be able to earn Essence Points, which you will be able to put to use in phase 2 that will include the world-building side of this upcoming sequel to one of the oldest blockchain games still around.
You can register for the beta through a Google Form linked in the game’s official Discord server. In the same channel, you’ll find a code and a link to the litepaper that requires inputting the code to enter.
Litepaper

The litepaper reveals further details on the features included in the upcoming beta version as well as an overview of the world-building gameplay. There’s also an events schedule with specific dates for them currently unannounced.
According to the new documentation, there will be 2 types of battles: Superhero Battles and Heart Battles. It doesn’t seem to be stated if both types are included in the beta, but based on what’s been shown so far, the beta will certainly feature Superhero Battles where each match will play out on a hexagonal battlefield, with both players having their own base in the form of a home tile. Destroying this tile wins you the match, but so does defeating your opponent’s Superhero, an ERC-721 Polygon NFT known to the community as a loyal in-game companion in CropBytes Farm. These turn-based battles utilize a mana system that is used for 3 combat abilities: Melee, Ranged, and Ultimate. Each turn lasts 30 seconds, requiring you think tactically at a quick pace. A card system will also be in place that allows you to use various cards during a match to add further strategic depth to each fast-paced battle.
