The developers of blockchain farming sim CropBytes Farms have officially introduced a new feature to the CBX Mining Station: Biome Mining.

What Is Biome Mining?

Biome Mining is a new feature in the Farms game that players will want to use to turn earned assets into useful strategic items in CropBytes Conquest. According to the announcement, the process is made to “transform your gameplay achievements into valuable biomes,” making it so that your progress in Farms is actually beneficial to starting your journey in the new strategic Web3 title.

Essentially, the new feature is a thank you letter to the loyal and dedicated Farms community, rewarding veterans with the ability to gain the right biome that is essential to world-building gameplay in Conquest.

How to Mine a Biome

The process is fairly simple: to mine a biome, you will first have to merge Fruit Feed, Pro Extracts and Extracts in order to get Pro Mix. You then combine this Pro Mix with CBX so that you can engage in or delegate game tasks in order to start mining your biome. According to the official post, the mining requirements are dynamic, varying depending on the market value of the assets needed.

With this approach, players have the option engage in games themselves but also to collaborate with the community, who will now likely see a large number of Jobs on the board available as a result of this community-focused feature, paving the way for plenty of new play-to-earn opportunities through which players can level up their skills and earn CBX tokens.
