Cronos Labs, the developers of the Layer 1 blockchain network Cronos, have officially launched the third cohort of their accelerator program backed by $100 million worth of ecosystem funds.

How does the Cronos Accelerator Cohort 3 work?

In Cronos Accelerator Cohort 3, Cronos Labs is looking to provide accelerated support for early-stage projects developing on the Cronos chain, a network that interoperates with the Ethereum and Cosmos ecosystems. By applying for this program, your project has a chance of receiving 12 weeks of workshops and mentorship. This means that, according to the announcement, you’ll have experts spend 3 months providing support in the following fields: legal, tech, tokenomics, commercial, marketing and fundraising. You’ll receive 1-to-1 tailored sessions with technical specialists to help you in designing, building, and scaling.

In terms of funding, all accepted projects will receive an immediate $30k, with up to $100k in follow-on investment from the $100 million ecosystem fund.

Which projects are eligible for the $100M Accelerator Program?

For this third cohort of the $100 million accelerator program, Cronos is looking for DeFi projects, consumer applications, as well as “enablers and UX abstraction,” according to one of their tweets. On the official website, it’s stated they’re looking for teams working in DeFi, GameFi, SocialFi, and developers creating infrastructure projects focused on “enabling and abstracting complexity from dApps, with product at their core.” Only projects building on their Layer 1 network can apply, with applications set to close on November 24th.
