The Crabada team has announced the closing of the game’s official marketplace for this week in order to successfully take a snapshot of Character NFTs that will be reissued onto the Avalanche C-Chain by Saturday, May 20th.

The marketplace will remain closed until May 22th at 00:00 UTC. Once it reopens, players will have time until May 28th at 00:00 UTC to bridge and withdraw any tokens they have left over to the Avalanche C-Chain.

Next to the marketplace, the developers have also closed the Battle Game after the end of the 3-week Final Arena Battles where Crabada players could compete for a total prize pool of $20,050 USDC from April 24th to May 14th. With that event, the team marked the end of their decentralized idle RPG, and are now working on getting Crabada Character NFTs migrated over to the Avalanche C-Chain as part of their transition plan laid out in the team’s letter to the community.

After the Character NFTs have been reissued, the marketplace will open again 2 days after the transition and will stay open for a limited time in order for players to have a chance at withdrawing any tokens that they may have available. Once that period passes, the marketplace will close for good, and with it the Swimmer Network as well, leaving the doors open for the community to continue creating their own experiences for their Crabada NFTs if they want to.
