The developers of Crabada, a decentralized idle RPG on the Avalanche blockchain, have launched the Lucky Draw V2.
Every day from 7:00 AM UTC, players can enter a daily draw that lasts 24 hours on the game’s website for a chance at earning an Origin Crab NFT which will no longer be possible to gain after the end of this second version of the Lucky Draw. Since 344 Crabs are set to be given out, this event will last for 344 days. Specifically, these include 36 Genesis Crabs, 36 Pure Crabs and 272 Mixed Crabs. According to the Medium post, the event started off from draw #2, where players had a chance to obtain the genesis Crazor. As of writing, the event is currently on its 5th day, or draw #6. The next Genesis Crab will be drawn on draw #12, the 11th day of the event.
For a full list of when other Genesis Crabs will be drawn, as well as the link to the event, check out the team's post here.
In order to participate, players must purchase a Lucky Draw Ticket, using either TUS or CRAM, with each ticket costing 60 TUS or 2 CRAM. Players can purchase as many tickets as they want for each draw. The winner should be able to claim their reward right after the draw has ended. The results are drawn using the Chainlink Verifiable Random Function (VRF), while Chainlink Keepers, a decentralized smart contract automation service, is used to automatically open up the next draw.
Next to Lucky Draw, the team has said that there will be other events as well. The upcoming events for the play-and-earn title include the Swimmer Network Ecosystem Grants and Phase 1 of Battle Bounty Campaign. Earlier this month, the Battle Game v1.0.7 update was released.
