After introducing the Guilds feature back in March this year, Gala Games has now announced the official launch of Guilds in blockchain farming sim Common Ground World.

How It Works

To create a Guild in any game mode, you need to have a Common Ground World Node Workload NFT (known earlier as a Town Star Node). The NFT has to be in your Gala inventory and must be linked with your Guild. Transferring the Node NFT also transfers leadership of the Guild.

Leaders can set up a unique name and icon, with a Level 1 Guild capable of having 20 members alongside 20 Library Slots and the Guild Leader. Players will be able to level up Guilds in the upcoming “Upgradeable NFTs” feature, planned to launch later this year.

Inviting players to your group is done by using the Guild Invite Menu to search for their Gala Username. It seems that joining a Guild is only possible through invitation, so a Guild Leader will have to send you an invite if you’d like to have an opportunity of becoming a part of a certain team.

Guild owners and players cannot be in more than one Guild at a time, and if you do leave one during a competition, you will have to wait 24 hours before you can join a new one. The Guild Leader can appoint Guild Officers, who have the power to kick and promote members.

NFT Library

Each Guild can have their own NFT Library, which the leader can populate with up to 20 assets to allow any member to use them in solo and competitive Guild events. For this initial release, the system only supports NFTs that can be placed in the in-game grid. This essentially means that owners can share Buildings for the time being.
