Following the release of Alpha 2.0 of Citizen Conflict earlier this month, QORPO Game Studio has announced a couple of sponsored tournaments that altogether have a total prize pool of $10k.
This total prize pool is split across 3 competitions: Guild Wars, Influencer Wars and Community Wars.
Sponsored by the Qtum foundation, Guild Wars is a tournament geared towards professional esports teams and Web3 gaming guilds, who have a chance at getting a share of the $6000 prize pool that will be distributed to the top 4 sides, with the winning team $3000, while 2nd is rewarded with $1500, 3rd earns $1000 and 4th $500. The list of participating guilds has been announced, revealing that Avocado DAO, Earn Alliance and a couple of others will be taking part. While the tournament may be at capacity, the developers are still open to being contacted by any esports teams and guilds, so there still may be a chance to get in on the tournament.
Influencer Wars will feature various content creators and influencers battling it out to get a piece of the $3000 prize pool. This pool is distributed to the best 3, with 1st place walking away $1500, 2nd $1000 and 3rd $500. To participate in this tournament, you need to have a following, as well as a team of 5 players, though the developers are willing set you up with a team should they allow you to participate.
Last but not least, the Community Wars lets anyone compete for a $1000 prize pool allocated to the 10 best players, with the winner set to receive $350, followed by $200 for 2nd and $100 for 3rd place. You’ll have to sign up for a QORPO ID, as well as have an Alpha Key, which you can receive by asking for it in the game’s official Discord server.
