QORPO Game Studio has announced a new alpha update, version 2.0.4, for their free-to-play MMO shooter Citizen Conflict, featuring a new map, secondary weapon, and more.

The new map is called Elite Enclave, and in it, the developers have introduced the use of a zipline, alongside destructible windows, covers, and even some walls too.

Alongside the new map for players to fight in through third-person gameplay, there is also a new secondary weapon available for use: a pistol called Decon. A new thunder ability is available as well called Ground Slam, while improvements to existing abilities have been made and the thunderbolt grenade has been added as a gadget. The grapple hook is now available for all heroes to use as a movement ability. Speaking of movement, the developers have decided to slow down movement in an effort to make gun fights feel smoother, while players now have more control during mid-air.

Upon entering the game, players will be greeted with a reworked, new dashboard that brings a more stylish look compared to the previous one, which the developers find better suits the game’s overall art style.

Complementing all the new features are new visual effects for gadgets, explosions, and smoke, as well as improved existing visuals for weapons and better animations. The new version also brings a more optimized game for players to enjoy, while giving players the option to choose between 2 server regions, Asia and Europe, in order to be able to get the best possible experience.
