Madworld, a post-apocalyptic shooter game developed by Carbonated Inc., is now open to all for registration. The company recently opened early access to invite participants. Moreover, Carbonated Inc. took this decision after successful funding rounds.
Recently, Madworld raised $11 million in association with Com2uS, a South Korean gaming company. Also, several other venture capital firms participated. These included Andreessen Horowitz, Bitkraft Ventures, Cypher Capital, and other notable giants.
Carbonated Inc., with its new game Madworld, is aiming to reshape the gaming landscape. This will be seen as the public debut of the game later this year, but registrations are already open for the game.
Exploring the Gaming Front of Madworld
The game is based on the storyline of a series of events on Earth, exploring the ruins of Earth. In the game, there is a catastrophic event called “The Collapse,” and the Madworld then takes place on a desolate Earth, providing an immersive gaming experience.
Further, players engage in a battle for survival with unique features and settings of the game. There are about 250,000 land plots mapped out on a hexagonal grid and each of these showcases different resources and benefits for gaming.
The innovative features and design of the game provide an outstanding experience and introduce a new layer to the competition. Additionally, Madworld is a game revolving around integrated Web3 technologies. It allows players to gain ownership and trade tokenized representations of real-world locations.
Consequently, these features will encourage players to create their own clans and compete together to gain essential resources that are spread across the terrain in the game. Then, players can acquire these resources with their clans by paying tribute to NFT landowners, with an in-game currency called “Rounds.”
The mechanism of the game encourages teamwork, creates a sense of uniqueness, provides economic opportunities, and blends the traditional gaming space with the field of digital assets.
