After five years of building through bear markets, pivots, and multiple game launches, Bullieverse has announced a full platform pivot. The team introduced BeyondPlay, a new gaming platform designed for the intersection of crypto and AI, signaling the most significant structural change in the project's history. The site at BeyondPlay.xyz is already live.
The announcement outlines a clear split between two branches. Bullieverse will continue operating as an NFT and IP community, the home of Bulls and Bears NFT holders and the culture built around those collectibles. BeyondPlay takes over as the primary product line, covering games, creators, payments, and AI agent tooling. Discord and Telegram will be rebranded to reflect this separation, and Bullieverse will move to a new home on X as the NFT-focused branch.
What BeyondPlay Actually Is
BeyondPlay is described as a viral economy of micro-competitions and mini-games. The platform is built around the idea that AI agents build the games, community members curate what succeeds, and players compete with real on-chain stakes. Creators earn from the titles they ship. Distribution runs natively through the social graph.
The platform launches with two core pillars. The first is Beyond Studio, a creator workspace where anyone can go from idea to playable game using AI agents, then publish directly to the platform. The second is Beyond Arcade, the player-facing side of the ecosystem, where new games drop continuously and culture determines which ones rise.
Early access for Beyond Studio is opening to a select group of community builders for a short build-and-publish sprint, with credits and rewards included. The team plans a broader public launch following that initial phase.
Five Years of Foundation Work
Bullieverse was founded in 2021 by Murali Reddy and Srini Anala, and went on to raise $4 million in funding with backing from OKX Ventures, Fundamental Labs, 6thMan Ventures, and Shima Capital among others. The team shipped multiple onchain titles and experimented with social features, game loops, and creator infrastructure throughout the bear market years spanning 2021 to 2026.
Two infrastructure experiments were particularly central to the transition. Beyond Passport introduced seamless player onboarding through smart wallets and social logins, allowing players to access games via Google or Facebook accounts without complex wallet setups. BeyondOS served as an early experiment with agentic infrastructure. Both systems now feed directly into the BeyondPlay architecture.
$BULL Token Will Not Launch, New Token Takes Its Place
One of the more significant disclosures in the announcement is the decision not to launch $BULL. The team confirmed that $BULL will not be released and that a new token for the BeyondPlay ecosystem will take its place instead. The reasoning given is to build a healthier long-term foundation and to better align with advancements in AI.
For existing community members, the team states that nothing changes in practical terms. Allocations remain the same, the same criteria applies, the same distribution breakdown carries over, and the allocation portal remains the source of truth. In short, whatever was owed under $BULL will be delivered in the new ecosystem token at launch.
Bears Heading to Base With an Art Upgrade
The Bears NFT collection, one of the two core collectible lines alongside Bulls, will be migrated to Base. A follow-up art upgrade is planned shortly after the migration. The team framed this as part of a broader shift in how NFTs will be treated within the ecosystem, moving away from staking mechanics toward IP-driven experiences inside BeyondPlay games.
As AI-powered 3D generation tooling improves, the team intends to expand what is possible with NFT-driven content in a way that goes well beyond traditional staking or reward systems. Bulls and Bears are being positioned as living IP that can appear and evolve inside new BeyondPlay titles.
Beyond Studio and the Creator Economy
The creator angle is central to what differentiates BeyondPlay from a standard gaming platform. Rather than relying on a single development team to build all content, the platform is built on the idea that creators use AI agents inside Beyond Studio to produce playable games at speed. Once published to Beyond Arcade, community behavior and competition mechanics determine what gets traction.
This model draws a direct line from the earlier Bullieverse approach, which was built on a low-code publishing platform for community game creators using Unreal Engine. BeyondPlay takes that same creator-first concept and upgrades it with AI generation pipelines, making the path from concept to published game shorter and more accessible.
Bull Run and the Road to BeyondPlay
The most recent game Bullieverse shipped before this announcement was Bull Run, a casual endless runner on Base launched worldwide in June 2024 as a free-to-play title on Android and iOS. Built in Unreal Engine and running on Coinbase's Layer 2 network, it was also the first Bullieverse game to integrate Beyond Passport. Players could set up a Beyond Account through Google or Facebook and jump in without managing a traditional Web3 wallet.
Bull Run demonstrated both the team's ability to ship cross-platform onchain games and the practical value of the Beyond Passport onboarding system. That infrastructure now serves as a direct foundation for BeyondPlay's approach to player access and account management.
The shift from a single-game ecosystem to an AI-powered platform with hundreds of mini-games built by independent creators represents a significant design change. BeyondPlay.xyz is live now, with the full platform experience and public launch timeline expected to follow the early access sprint for Beyond Studio.
