MetaKing Studios has announced the start of the Shadowclaw Season on March 18th for their blockchain grand strategy game, BLOCKLORDS, available for free on the Epic Games Store.

Season Details

The season marks the introduction of heroes called Shadowclaws, who are warriors that work together with owls to deliver lethal blows while remaining unseen in battle.

While the season does include a free Basic Pass to earn rewards in while climbing the Basic Tier leaderboard, there is also a new Shadowclass Pass, which gives you a 20% EXP boost alongside bonus rewards and access to the Shadowclaw Tier leaderboard, with both leaderboards ranking players based on their season EXP. According to the announcement in the game’s official Discord server, this premium Pass costs $9.99. If you manage to complete the Battle Pass, then every additional 5k EXP you earn afterwards is rewarded with more goodies. 

Next to the new Battle Pass, the latest season also introduces the Nightwing Chest, a new special chest which is said to contain varied treasures. It’s similar to last season’s Bearslayer Chest, but comes with a smaller chance of getting banners and heroes while removing Bisping heroes and replacing them with the exclusive new Shadowclaw heroes. According to the patch notes in the Discord server, players can get the new chest for every 5k EXP after reaching the 25k EXP mark. There are also many new seasonal missions to enjoy, involving you in in-game activities that include farm management, PvE fights, trading, and more.

The Influence Store now includes Hunter heroes, new resource packs, and Legendary Shadowclaw Chests.

Rewards

By progressing your way through this new season before GameDrop 2, you stand a chance of participating in a community reward pool featuring 250k $LRDS tokens. The top 1000 players in the Shadowclaw Tier leaderboard will be rewarded with $LRDS alongside Nightwing Chests and Legacy Shadowclaw Heroes depending on how high you rank, while the Basic Tier includes Gold, Influence, and Nightwing Chests for the top 10k, with a random Legacy Shadowclaw Hero awaiting the highest-ranked player.
