The Blockchain Monster Hunt (BCMHunt) team has announced that second staking cycle of 2023 will be open for registration from April 21st at 7 AM UTC to April 24th at 7 AM UTC. Once registration ends, the NFT Staking Program will enter a lock period from April 24th at 7 AM UTC to June 23rd at the same time.

During the registration period, players will be able to stake their monsters in their designated summer staking pools. If you confirm your decision during this signup timeframe, you won’t be able to undo your choice of staking a monster, but will have to wait for the 60-day lock period to end before being able to reclaim your NFT.

Due to the lower number of energy spent in the previous staking cycle in comparison to earlier staking rounds, this second cycle of this year will as a result have lower energy rewards for every council, meaning that the new rewards are now set at 350 million Energy for Wild and Genesis councils. This means that 350 million Energy is split evenly across 50 Wild councils (1 for every genus group) and 350 million Energy is equally allocated towards 22 Genesis councils.
