The team behind the beFITTER fitness app has released info on the upcoming Pet NFT system.

Pets are NFTs on the BNB Chain that allow players to earn various rewards as well as participate in a variety of tournaments. The developers will release these Pets in Pet Backpack NFT Offerings. There will be two different types, Classic and Supreme Pets, spread across 3 different rarities: Standard, Rare and Iconic. The difference between the two types is not only in attributes, with Supreme Pets being better In that case, but also in the fact that Supreme types unlock exclusive features, such as “Idle Earning.” The whitelist for the first offering is now open for registration, with the registration period ending on September 16 at 23:59 UTC. 150 backpacks will be sold for this offering, with 1 backpack limited to 1 wallet.

There are 3 types of breeds: Pug, Shiba Inu and Corgi, and every Pet features 4 different attributes that are important for the tournaments in which pets can race in: Run, Swim, Surf and Power. Tournaments contain various sections for each attribute, such as obstacle areas, making a higher Power attribute key in having the Pet progress through these areas quicker. Participating in tournaments, which are split into multiple joinable rooms, requires paying a certain number of tokens that go to the total prize pool, as well as the room pool for the room the participant has entered.

Taking care of your Pet is important, as they have 3 different dynamic statuses they can be in: Belly, Mood and Hunt. Pet NFTs will have to be fed food, and they can also use the bathroom, take a shower as well as sleep. When the player is moving, their Pet can go on a treasure hunt, finding things such as Pet food, tokens and more. The chances of locating a treasure depend on the Luck attribute of the Shoe NFT as well as the amount of energy that is used.
