Sky Mavis has officially launched a pre-season balancing patch for their flagship Web3 title, Axie Infinity Origins, marking the release of the previously announced Parts Evolution system, and more.

Patch Details

In this latest update, the developers have released the official balancing patch for the next season, while launching Parts Evolution Utility and bringing back Momo, Venoki, and Pomodoro to the Origins Shop in the form of packs that provide bonus Honor Medals and Class badges.

The full patch notes for Season 7 were revealed last week, which is where all Parts Evolution card effects can also be found. In comparison to then, the team has now made 2 minor changes to what was initially revealed: Blue Mirror will give +1 when used, while the PP Cost for Discount Coupon has been upped from 4 to 5.

Next to these changes, Collectible axies are getting increased base HP, with Mystic axies now having an added +20 HP, while the health of Origin axies has been increased by +15 HP. Summer axies have received +5 HP, while Xmas, MEO, Shiny, and Japanese axies now have +10 HP more than before.

Balancing changes are still subject to change based on testing data and community feedback ahead of Season 7, which the team is looking to start off mid-January.

If you didn’t get Momo, Pomodoro and Venoki before, then you now have another chance of getting these starter axies through packs in the Origins Shop. The price of each is 1000 Gems, giving you not only the starter axie you chose, but depending on the pack you pick, you also get 1000 Honor Medals and 5 Class Badges.
