The Rare Era of Season 7, which kicked off last month, is now officially over, meaning that it’s time for the Axie Infinity Origins community to dive into the Epic Era which comes with a few updates alongside its own leaderboard rewards and some bonus prizes.
Epic Era Details

Origins S7 Epic Era went live on January 31st and is set to last for 2 weeks with a prize pool of 18,900 AXS and 13,732,070 SLP, which is double the amount of rewards that were available this season’s first Era. You can earn a share of these tokens by ranking in the top 20k. There are also bonus rewards up for grabs for the top 40k players. These bonuses include crafting materials that could help you do even better for the upcoming Mystic Era.
AXP Changes

Following community feedback, the team has decided to make some AXP changes after starting the season off with a higher emission rate than before.
From this Era and onwards, players will only get 1 AXP when losing a match without Stamina from the Boar rank and up, while drawing matches without Stamina now also gives out a lower amount of AXP. At some point later on, the game will stop awarding AXP for losing without Stamina once the developers have “finalized some tech considerations.” The announcement states that “we want players to feel empowered and get rewarded for their hard work and skill,” hence this change to AXP issuance.
New Updates
Alongside the AXP adjustments, the developers have updated the game with a new crafting level up UI, while making the Collectible Rewards leaderboard visible in-game, a welcome change that simplifies progression tracking for Collectible owners.
