Sky Mavis has announced that guilds for Axie Infinity Classic are now officially live, allowing anyone to create their own guild using AXS.

Launch Details

Guilds can hold a total of 60 members and can be created by paying 8 AXS, which is done by depositing the tokens to the App.axie Classic Portal, where SLP withdrawals are now also available. AXS withdrawals will be introduced in about 2 weeks. One wallet address can only create one guild, but if you don’t want to set up your own then you can also choose to join ones made by the community instead. The current guilds are level 1 and is why they can only accomodate 60 membership slots. In the future, the studio will make it possible to level up guilds to allow for larger groups.

Every guild member can share up to 6 axies by depositing them to the Guild Vault, where the axies are locked until the second daily reset at 00:00 UTC within the next 48 hours, after which guild members can borrow these axies for 20 gold per day. It will be possible to share a higher number of axies in the future.

More features to guilds are said to be on the way, including a new Guild Chat feature that will let players converse with each other in-game. Deleting and renaming your guild is not possible for now.

Grand Tournament

Registrations for the Grand Tournament are now officially open, with the announcement encouraging guild members to apply as the competition will allow them to gain Guild Points when the Guild Leaderboard is released on March 21st. Guild Points earned before that date however will be reset.
