Ronin-powered free-to-play RTS game Wild Forest has been updated with the launch of Perks and Arcade Mode, while making fixes to Unit names and match completion results.
What Is the New Mode About?
Arcade Mode is a relaxed non-ranked game mode in which you play with a randomly generated deck instead of your own. This deck is the same for each player matchmaking in this mode, with a new deck said to be generated every 4 hours. You can see the deck you get to play with before matching with an opponent.

Playing this mode requires having 500 Rating trophies, but the mode itself does not have ratings and leagues of its own to worry about, allowing you to enjoy playing with random decks that may help you uncover powerful unit combinations. With that said, your rating won’t change by playing here, but your Battle Pass tasks do actually count in this mode, and so do Daily Challenges (Marathon).
Not only do you get to play with fun random decks, but all buildings are at 200% power (League 5) and all Units are upgraded to Level 25 and come with random epic and legendary ranks, making this mode entirely skill based.
Perks

Unit Perks are special abilities that units randomly unlock by ranking up, with Epic Units getting one Perk and Legendary Units receiving an extra one. Beta Units however cannot get Perks when ranking up. These abilities are currently only available in Arcade Mode and are set to be included with release Units at some point after the game’s official launch.
A total of 41 Perks have been added, divided into 3 groups: General (orange), Group (green) and Unique (blue) Perks. General Perks are available for any Unit and include buffs such as higher damage or health, while Group Perks are limited to specific Unit types and Unique Perks are only available to certain Units.

If you like or dislike a certain Perk, you actually have the option of liking and disliking it in-game, helping the developers gather feedback and use the data to help with making balancing changes.
