Animoca-backed sci-fi roguelike Wanderers is running its second closed beta event this weekend: Into The Flame.

Event Details

From June 13th to June 17th, holders of RAM Bundles can participate in this exclusive event by burning their asset on the official Codex page in order to get an access code that can be redeemed on the Epic Games Store, receiving rare in-game RAM Cards in the process. This event introduces the deck-building feature which allows you to customize your playstyle with in-game RAM Cards, which are in-game assets bound to your account. Eventually, these cards will be possible to convert into NFTs at some point in the future.

The goal of this event is to go the furthest on Necrosis and Pyromon while being the fastest to beat the Dark Entity and Ash Titan bosses.

Holders who burn a level 2 or higher RAM Bundle can get friend referral codes to invite their friends to the event by sending the code from the Codex inventory to the friend’s Codex wallet address, making the code bound to the friend’s account. Another way for users to get into this event is by receiving a beta code from a gaming community or creator. The referral system may bring various rewards in the future “based on your friends’ engagement and in-game skills.”

Prizes

The event features the following leaderboards for each planet: Farthest Run, and Fastest Time to Kill Boss. This means that both planets have a separate leaderboard for Farthest Run, and a separate leaderboard for being the fastest to kill the Dark Entity or Ash Titan.

Each leaderboard comes with prizes for the top 3 players. Specifically, the highest-ranked player gets $250 USDC and a Wanderer NFT, while second place is rewarded with a RAM NFT, and third place with a Planet NFT. The prizes are the same for each leaderboard.
