UnCaged Studios, now rebranded as UNKJD, has announced that their turn-based sports game, UNKJD Soccer (previously known as MonkeyLeague), is now available in Brazil, making it the first market in which the Web3 title has officially launched.

According to the announcement, the mobille title has undergone a transformation during development that players can now experience for themselves with this launch. Next to gameplay changes, the team has also decided to start an $MBS Airdrop Challenge in celebration of the game’s official release into its first market.

Revamped Gameplay

The studio has made a variety of adjustments to gameplay since showing the first prototype at the Solana event in Lisbon in an effort to "convert the traditional turn-based board game format” into fast-paced soccer matches. As a result, the team has introduced simultaneous play to allow for all characters (referred to as Ballers) to react at the same time for a more realistic experience, while streamlining the UI to make it more user-friendly by decreasing the number of clicks needed to perform various actions. Dynamic camera movements have also been added to give the impression of a live broadcast perspective, and there is also new content called ‘Skillz’ assigned to each Baller.

A variety of new features have been added to improve player progression and provide an exciting competitive experience for players of all levels to participate in. These features include daily missions called Daily Drillz, alongside quests, tournaments, ranks and leagues.

In order to add further tactical depth to the strategic sports title, the team has introduced Team Management, a new feature in which you can form your own team of Ballers while upgrading them using XP earned from matches. Next to XP, you can also get Skillz as rewards that you can then choose to fuse onto your players in order to create a winning team suited to the playstyle you’re after.

$MBS Airdrop Challenge

To celebrate this launch, the team is now hosting an airdrop challenge where the goal is to level up from Qualifer to the Rookie League in order to be rewarded with $5 worth of $MBS that is sent to your Solana wallet.
