Tyranno Studios, the company known for Web3 fighting card game Blockchain Brawlers has now revealed details on how its community can earn $CNOTES in their WAX-based tycoon game, Music Mogul.
Earning $CNOTES
After detailing how players can earn $CRED, the developers have now explained how the game’s other, $CNOTES, can be earned. Essentially, earning it requires taking part in weekly competitions, but to do that, you need to create a track.
Track Creation

To record tracks, you’ll have to head to the Recording section of the game located in the top navigation bar. From there you will have the option to rent a room, which is not an NFT, but an in-game item. There are 5 different room tiers you can choose to rent: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. After you pay the rental fee, the room you picked will be added to the recording studio inventory which is found in the same previously-mentioned section.
Recording studios differ in bonuses and costs, as well as in the chances of actually getting them:
- Bronze: 25 CRED cost (0% track quality bonus) 64% drop chance
- Silver: 80 CRED cost (1.5% track quality bonus) 20 % drop chance
- Gold: 210 CRED cost (5% track quality bonus) 10% drop chance
- Platinum: 575 CRED cost (15% track quality bonus) 5% drop chance
- Diamond: 720 CRED cost (20% track quality bonus) 1% drop chance
After launch, the following changes will be implemented:
- Bronze Recording Room is designed for 1 Crew member and 1 piece of Gear
- Silver Recording Room allows 1 Crew member and 3 pieces of Gear
- Gold Recording Room has space for 2 Crew members and 4 pieces of Gear
- Platinum Recording Room can house 3 Crew members and 4 pieces of Gear
- Diamond Recording Room allows for 4 Crew members and 6 pieces of Gear
These are the limitations that will be set on recording rooms in the future; for the time being, all types can be filled up with 4 Crew members and 6 pieces of Gear. The future limitations however won’t apply to early adopters.
There are various different Crew members to hire: Composer, Sound Engineer, Producer, and an Artist Manager, while the available types of Gear include the following: Headphones, Recording Desk, Mic, Monitor, Amp, and Rack Effects. These are all one-time NFTs, so if you end up equipping them, the NFT is actually burned.
By setting up a room with the right Crew and Gear, you can begin recording a track that will have a random title and quality score, with “F” being the lowest grade, and “S+” being the highest. The higher the grade, the better the chances of having a hit track. Increasing your chances of getting the best grade requires having high-quality Crew members and Gear, with rarer Artist NFTs providing additional track quality bonus.
Once you’ve recorded your track, it never expires, meaning you can submit it in multiple competitions of various genres, so long as the track is eligible for that particular event, with payouts given depending on where the track ranks on the chart. If your track ranks in the top 500, you’ll earn $CNOTES, with the top-ranking track getting 1000 tokens.
