Directive Games has announced the launch of The Machines Arena Beta Season 3, set to go live on Monday, February 12. This top-down hero shooter game, known for its adrenaline-pumping combat, is bringing a host of exciting updates. 

Starting February 29, players will get to mint their in-game skins, allowing them to truly own their virtual collectibles. This feature not only adds a layer of customization but also integrates blockchain tech into the top-down shooter. 

Back by popular demand, ranked PvP is making a triumphant return in S3. Players are urged to form their teams and hone their skills for the competitive matches that will determine who climbs to the top division. The exact dates for the PvP will be announced in the next few days. 

A new map, "Coalition Festival," inspired by the Lunar New Year, is coming to the Quickplay lobby. The map's vibrant, colorful environment, filled with corridors and hidden corners, promises to be a strategic battleground that challenges players to adapt their tactics in real-time.

S3 also brings a host of new mintable skins and special editions, including the Valentine's Day exclusive skin, "The Amorous Archer," and the Lunar New Year-themed "Dragon Dancer" skin. The "Night Ops Skins Set" also offers players new aesthetic options for nighttime battles. 

All Beta participants will get the chance to unlock exclusive skins and mint them on the Ronin Network. The team also promises an unforgettable season with the launch trailer, updates, giveaways, and 3rd-party collabs yet to be revealed. As the new season approaches, the excitement among gaming fans is palpable, promising a season filled with thrilling battles.
