This new feature will allow players to choose between “daily” and “season” rentals. Further, season rentals are a long-term option for securing cards for the entire season.

Season Rental: Details

According to the team, players can filter available rentals by daily or season on the car rental market pages. Players cannot cancel season rentals that start with seven or more days remaining in the current ranked play season until the end of that season.

 At the end of the ranked play season, the season rentals will expire at the same time of day they were rented. Players will have the option to rent cards using either DEC or Credits. The card owner will receive the rental fee immediately. Players can easily rent an entire deck of cards for their current league level for the entire season.

The Splinterlands team has made acquiring and keeping cards with season rentals easier for players. They have eliminated the worry of rental termination every few days, especially towards the end of the season. As part of their larger project to streamline the process of acquiring cards, PeakMonsters recently released the "decks" feature. The deck feature aims to make it easier for players to be competitive in Splinterlands.

The combination of these new features has the potential to transform the process of acquiring the necessary cards to compete in Splinterlands from a complicated and involved experience to a seamless, one-click process.

Both new and experienced game players can expect to benefit from this modification. It is important to note that all cards now listed on the rental market will continue to be daily rentals. Only newly listed cards for which the owner selects the season rental option will be accessible. Anybody wishing to change their rental listings from daily to season must cancel their current listings and re-list them as season rentals.
