MOBLAND, a GTA-like metaverse game, has announced that Snoop Dogg and his son Cordell Broadus (AKA Champ Medici) will be collaborating with them in creating the first-ever digital weed farms in the form of NFTs. Of course, this partnership was revealed on the rapper’s and cannabis lovers’ favorite day, 4/20.

Snoop Dogg had the following to say:

"If it's flipping hamburgers at McDonald’s, be the best hamburger flipper in the world. Whatever it is you do you have to master your craft. I have been mastering my craft for decades. My son showed me the importance of collaboration with Mobland to introduce the first-ever digital weed farms as NFTs. There is a paradigm shift happening here and I want to be at the forefront of this."

His son Champ Medici, a creative director and crypto investor, commented the following on his father’s habits:

"I saw my father play video games my whole life. Cannabis and game controllers live hand in hand with him, that's why I think it’s no brainer to bring the metaverse and digital weed together."

The ‘first-ever’ mafia metaverse also mentioned that there will be a limited collection of Snoop Dogg’s digital weed farms, with ‘exclusive content’ to come from Champ Medici.

MOBLAND is a free-to-play, play-to-earn gangster-themed metaverse built on Unity, with the aim to be ‘chain agnostic’ and cross-chain. They have recently received backing from KuCoin Ventures, with the game’s governance token, $SYNR, appropriately getting listed on the KuCoin exchange on 4/20.
