The developers of Parallel, an NFT trading card game set in a sci-fi setting, have announced that their blockchain title will be releasing in closed alpha at the end of this month on Tuesday, February 28th.
This launch date was revealed in an official tweet on February 16th, with the team stating that they will start sending out emails to those who have been accepted into this closed testing phase from Wednesday, February 22nd. If you’d like to try your luck at getting invited, then you can do so by applying for early access on the game’s official website here.
Next to announcing the release, the developers also gave info on the minimum system requirements for this closed alpha in a separate tweet. They are the following:
- OS: Windows 7 or greater
- CPU: Intel Core i5-4460 or equivalent
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 1660 6 GB GDDR5
- RAM: 8 GB DDR3
- Storage: at least 3 GB of free disk space
It’s also worth noting that only 16:9 aspect ratios are supported, and that the alpha client is not completely optimized to run on lower-spec PCs. As time goes on there will be more optimized builds to play on, and eventually Mac support will also be introduced.
