Heimdall Arena Season 20 is now live in Nine Chronicles, inviting all Cat Warriors to climb the ranks and compete for a share of 400,000 NCG in prizes. The season marks another entry in the game's long-running competitive calendar, which has distributed millions of NCG to top players since the Heimdall chain launched in late 2023 with an initial 1 million NCG combined pool across its first two seasons.
Players who reach the top of the leaderboard claim the largest portions of the pool, while participation throughout the season gives every competitor a shot at rewards regardless of their final rank.
A Three-Track Season Pass
Running alongside the arena, Nine Chronicles has unveiled a revamped Season Pass system built around three distinct content pillars. Each track operates independently, letting players focus on the gameplay loop they prefer rather than forcing a single progression path.
The CouragePass rewards players with game materials and exclusive legend titles each season. Progress accumulates through Courage EXP, which is earned by simply playing the game across its core content. The track is the broadest of the three and serves as the foundation of the Season Pass system.
The WorldClearPass targets players pushing through the game's world stages. Completing worlds generates Dust rewards, with Premium Pass holders receiving a larger share than free-tier participants. The pass also grants access to numerous summoning materials and an exclusive sacred costume, making it the track most tied to character progression and cosmetic rewards.
The AdventureBossPass focuses on the Adventure Boss content specifically, rewarding players with rune stones used for upgrading runes. Premium holders on this track receive expanded rune stone quantities, accelerating the rune upgrade grind that forms a core element of long-term character building in Nine Chronicles M.
Across all three tracks, premium holders gain instant access to exclusive bonus loot at the point of purchase, bypassing the early leveling required in the free tier.
About Nine Chronicles
Nine Chronicles is a fully decentralized, open-source RPG developed by Planetarium Labs and built on its own blockchain. The game runs without centralized servers, meaning all game logic and state are processed and stored entirely on-chain. It is available on PC and mobile, with the Heimdall chain serving as the dedicated mobile server alongside the original Odin chain.
The play-to-earn title blends idle progression with active PvP and PvE content across multiple systems. Players level characters, craft equipment, run dungeons, challenge World Bosses and Adventure Bosses, and compete in ranked Arena seasons. In-game assets and NCG, the game's native token, carry real economic value and are tradable through the market. A wrapped version of NCG called WNCG is also available on external exchanges.
The Arena in Nine Chronicles M operates on a seasonal format where players earn rewards through both weekly ranking performance and medal accumulation during battles. Each season resets the leaderboard, giving all players a clean start. The series has steadily grown from its debut in September 2021, when the first arena season ran a 896,000 NCG pool with 240 season-exclusive NFTs, to the current structured season cadence on both the Odin and Heimdall chains. A parallel THOR chain arena separately offered 600,000 NCG in Season 2 earlier in 2026, reflecting the project's multi-chain competitive ambitions.
Season 20 on Heimdall continues that momentum. With 400,000 NCG on the line and three active Season Pass tracks giving every type of player a rewarded path forward, the current cycle represents one of the more layered content windows the onchain MMORPG has run to date.
