Legend of YMIR has officially launched Season 1. Titled as the Season of Growth, it runs for 4 weeks, starting on November 25 and ending on December 30, before the weekly update. The new season introduces loads of seasonal content, new equipment, added bosses, a new server-wide battle system, and a collaboration with Razer.

What’s New in Legend of YMIR Season 1?

Season 1 brings a complete set of new seasonal systems that allow faster character progression during the limited seasonal period. All seasonal content is marked in green in the game menu and includes Season Valhalla, Season Expedition, Season Directive, Season Summon, Season Story Deck, Season Achievements, Season Collections, Season Saga, and the Season Black Valkyrie.

Season progression is measured through the Origin of Growth system. Players earn Origin of Growth points through seasonal activities, using these points unlock 2 seasonal buffs: Blessing of Growth and Blessing of Leap. Blessing of Growth applies everywhere and improves hunting experience gain and item drop rate. Blessing of Leap applies only inside Season Valhalla and the Season Expedition.

Season Valhalla contains the Hall of Growth. This area provides high experience rates and seasonal item drops. Players receive 1 hour of access daily, with the option to extend time using a Hall of Growth Recharging Stone.

The Season Expedition introduces the Kobold King. Players have to defend the Tree of Life from the Kobold King and his minions, with entry limited to just 1 attempt per day. Difficulty requirements depend on player level and the number of Origin of Growth points earned during the season.

Season Directive delivers 5 random missions per day. These missions are matched to a character’s level and can be refreshed with Silver. Directive Addition Tickets allow up to 10 completions per day.

Season exclusive bosses also appear during the event period. The unique monster Golden Giant Baldergrud spawns in various locations across Asgard regions, including Vale of Ragnarok and Canyon of the World Tree floors 3, 4, and 5. Defeating Baldergrud can reward seasonal equipment and collection items that grant Origin of Growth points.

Season Achievements provide additional rewards. Season Collections allow registration of seasonal equipment, specialties, antiques, and other seasonal items. Collection effects remain after the season ends, although the seasonal menu will be removed. The Season Saga contains 2 story chapters that unlock at level 40. These quests are said to reward seasonal items and collection entries.

New seasonal equipment has also been added: Megingjord, Valkyrie’s Grail, and Necklace of Growth. Megingjord is a prime grade belt that can be crafted with Coin of Growth. It becomes a special NFI item through enhancement and unlocks the skill “Cry of the Gods” at enhancement level 15. Valkyrie’s Grail is a rare grade grail that can be enhanced only during the season. Any Valkyrie’s Grail below enhancement level 10 will be deleted once the season ends. Necklace of Growth is a rare grade necklace that can be placed in the Collection for stat bonuses.

There are also 7 new events that have been released with the update. These include 2 check-in events, 4 mission events, and 1 ranking event, according to the official event round-up.

Season 1 also adds new monsters and raids. Vargreif is a new field boss located on the 3rd floor of the Temple of Chaos and respawns 10 hours after being defeated. Kreedle is a new boss that can be summoned through the Sanctuary of Summoning by players who hold Conqueror or Champion permissions. The Kobold King raid serves as the primary seasonal expedition.

A large world-scale activity called Server Battle has also been introduced. This is a new inter-server PvP mode available every Tuesday from 20:00 to 22:00 in the server’s regional timezone. Entry is limited to characters level 40 and above and to characters who are ranked within the top 500 of the Inter Server Growth Power ranking. Both conditions need to be met for entry. Victory grants the winning clan master the Conqueror title until the following Tuesday at 5:00. Conqueror benefits include server-wide notices, exclusive buffs, crown effects, access to a special companion, drop tax controls, field boss spawn time adjustment, and entry to the exclusive Conqueror and Champion shop. The Champion title is granted automatically every Monday to the top ranked Growth Power player on each server.

Partner’s Island is another new addition brought to the web3 title for this season. This is an exclusive zone that can be entered only through a Partner’s Island Warp Scroll. Items and bosses located on Partner’s Island include the Fairy King of Prosperity Gullin, which can be summoned with a Gullin’s Blowhorn that is purchased through the Partner’s Web Shop.

Additional quality of life updates, adjustments to field boss schedules, bug fixes, and new coin deposit products have also been introduced, as noted in the official patch notes.

Legend of YMIR x Razer Special Partnership Promotion

Season 1 is also accompanied by a collaboration with Razer. Two new limited edition Disir have been added to commemorate the partnership: Razer Gold and Razer Silver Disir. Players can obtain these special Disir by purchasing new promotion bundles through the Razer Gold website.

The new bundles in question are referred to as Razer Silver: Essence Edition ($10), and Razer Gold: Ascension Edition ($20). Both promotion bundles provide in-game items tied directly to the new season, including a Disir Card. These promotional items can be claimed upon purchase and redeemed in-game.

The partnership also aligns with the general season theme of accelerated growth, since promotional bundles are positioned as supportive items for both new and returning players during the 4-week seasonal period.
