Pink Moon Studios, the developers of Kryptomon, have officially launched an NFT rental marketplace for the KMON Genesis NFTs on Playdex, a social gaming platform.

By making the NFTs rentable on their partner’s marketplace, the developers have opened up the opportunity for holders who may not have time to play the blockchain game themselves to make some passive income via renting, while those who are on the fence on purchasing a Kryptomon now have a chance of seeing what it’s like for themselves through this cheaper option. 

Owners can now lend their NFTs through the marketplace, setting the rental price and rental period. Interested renters will have to pay a daily fee, while the cryptocurrency used to pay the fee with will depend on what the lender has chosen to receive. It seems that the available tokens holders can choose and players can filter by include $BNB, $USDT and $KMON. The official rental page can be found linked in the tweet down below.

Through renting a Genesis NFT, the owner earns passive income from the rental fee, while the player renting the NFT gets to keep all the rewards they earn from playing the blockchain title.

These Genesis NFTs can currently be used for playing and earning $KMON in 2 blockchain titles: Kryptomon Genesis and Pink Moon. The former is a free-to-play turn-based 2D RPG available on PC, Android and iOS devices, while the latter is an AR-based treasure hunting game available on Android and iOS devices for whitelisted players. Interested players can sign up with their email on the official website for a chance at getting whitelisted and participating in the upcoming treasure hunt that will start in about 10 days and include a prize pool consisting of various NFTs and $KMON.
