The 4th Plague Origin Event of the Zombie metaverse of Karmaverse, a GameFi multiverse is set to kick off this Tuesday, August 23.
This monthly event, set to end on Sunday, August 28, has players battle through a complex trying to get to the lowest floors while gaining as many points as possible in order to earn various rewards. In some floors, there may be special rules, limiting the type of fighters that can be used. Successfully beating the special floor allows players to choose a buff for their fighters that can stack with similar buffs, with the buff lasting throughout the run.
A player’s Plague Origin Rank depends on the floor reached. While all ranks will receive some reward, it’s the higher ranks, from rank 1000 and up, that increasingly get more rewards. Some of the rewards the 1st place player gets include a 5-star NFT fighter called Professor Kraken that deals area damage and can also prevent a group of enemies from gaining energy for 3 turns. Rank Second is, among various rewards, awarded with a 4-star NFT fighter called Jamie, whose attack and defense attributes are like this of a 5-star fighter.
