Imaginary Ones, a notable name in the Web3 space, has announced an exciting partnership with Immutable, harnessing the power of Immutable zkEVM. This collab marks a key milestone in bridging the gap between Web2 and Web3 gaming landscapes.
Founded in 2022, Imaginary Ones quickly rose to fame with its unique PFP collection, amassing over 17K ETH in total trading volume. This impressive feat was highlighted by their first collection of 8,888 fully animated 3D characters, which sold out in just six minutes. Their strategic partnerships with industry giants, notably HUGO BOSS, have further cemented their online presence.
With the release of Bubble Rider, Imaginary Ones ventured into gaming, seeing millions of games played and widespread adoption. The team is now moving into mobile gaming with the launch of Bubble Rangers on Immutable zkEVM. Bubble Rangers, an endless runner game, brings challenging obstacles, a visually stunning world, and rewarding experiences. The game aims to spread joy, one bubble at a time.
"Working with Immutable is part of our wider plan: to close the gap between Web2 and Web3 ecosystems in the gaming world – through the power of our imagination," said Clement Chia, Co-Founder of Imaginary Ones. The company plans to launch six casual games with a mobile-first approach, widening the appeal of its intellectual property (IP).
Bubble Rangers has been a great success, with over 100k downloads within three weeks of release. This showcases their ability to capture the hearts of collectors and gamers.
With that, Imaginary Ones will launch a series of casual games built on Immutable zkEVM. The platform offers extensive capabilities for users and developers, including bespoke smart contract support, sophisticated gameplay mechanics, and gas-free experiences. All of these contribute to a more cost-effective, secure, and seamless trading experience. This partnership allows for a large player base while ensuring full ownership of in-game assets.
