Lamborghini Enters the Illuvium Universe Through Fast ForWorld

Automobili Lamborghini is now officially part of the Illuvium universe. The collaboration arrives through Fast ForWorld, Lamborghini's web3 engagement platform developed in partnership with Animoca Brands and its Motorverse subsidiary. The limited collection is exclusive to Illuvium: Beyond, the NFT collectible side of the broader Illuvium blockchain gaming ecosystem.

The drop goes live on April 21, 2026 at 13:00 UTC and closes on May 5, 2026 at 13:00 UTC. Each Automobili Lamborghini D1SK is priced at 2,000 FUEL, the in-game resource used across the Illuvium ecosystem. Once the sale window closes, these promo packs are gone permanently.

Six Illuvials, Gold Finish, and Lamborghini Design DNA

The Lamborghini collection features six fan-favorite Illuvials reimagined with the brand's signature visual aesthetic. The lineup includes Greater Air Volante (Tier 0, Stage 2), Greater Monkier (Tier 1, Stage 2), Stoic Emberlynx (Tier 2, Stage 3), Gnarl (Tier 3, Stage 3), and two Tier 4 Stage 3 cards: Jotun and Blazenite.

Each Illuvitar comes with one of three distinct Lamborghini-themed backgrounds and custom pre-bonded accessories. The collection introduces Gold finish Illuvitars for the first time in a Wave 5 promo drop, with only a 5% pull rate. The rarest card in the set is the Gold Iceblast Jokul, followed closely by Gold Blazenite. Both sit at the top of what the team calls the hunt for grails.

Expression rarity runs at 50% Common, 35% Uncommon, and 15% Rare. All promo backgrounds are Tier 1, with three stages and three color variants, making up nine distinct combinations. Stage 1 backgrounds land at 55%, Stage 2 at 35%, and Stage 3 at 10%.

Each Automobili Lamborghini D1SK contains one Lamborghini Illuvitar, one Rare Wave 3 Illuvitar, and three Set 1 accessories. Opening any Lamborghini D1SK also contributes 50 Wave 5 Stretch Goal points.

The $50,000 Motorverse Cup Tournament

The headline feature of this collaboration is the Arena Motorverse Cup, a Gauntlet tournament tied directly to the Lamborghini collection with a total prize pool of $50,000. First place takes home $15,000. Full tournament format details will be released in a dedicated blog closer to the event.

To compete, players must own and equip the Lamborghini Branded Battle Board during the tournament. This is a hard requirement for entry. The Battle Board is unlocked as a stretch goal reward after purchasing just 3 Lamborghini D1SKs. Players who miss the sale window can also hunt for one on the secondary market, though availability will depend entirely on other holders choosing to sell.

Stretch Goal Rewards From One D1SK to Ten

The Lamborghini drop comes with a tiered stretch goal reward system tracked per wallet. Consolidating purchases into a single wallet is the recommended strategy to maximize unlocks.

Buying one D1SK earns the Flex Lesser Air Volante Emote. Two D1SKs unlock the Victory Gnarl Emote. At three D1SKs, players receive the Lamborghini Battle Board, the key to tournament entry. Four unlocks a Lamborghini Drone Blast, five gives the Smash Jotun Emote, and six grants a Lamborghini Profile Border. At eight D1SKs, players receive the Mozart Lamborghini Skin, and those reaching ten unlock the Ranger Lamborghini Skin.

What Is Illuvium: Beyond?

Illuvium: Beyond is the NFT collectible arm of the Illuvium ecosystem, a multi-title blockchain gaming project built on Immutable zkEVM. Players open D1SKs to collect Illuvitars, hand-drawn digital portraits of creatures from the Illuvium universe, then customize them with accessories and display them in digital albums.

Wave 5, which launched on March 12, 2026, is the final wave of Set 1. It introduced 325 collectible items, a new Furnace burning mechanic where players burn older Illuvitars to earn Stretch Goal points, and over 100 unlockable rewards. The Wave 5 leaderboard runs for 10 weeks, distributing 250 ILV weekly to the top 250 collectors, with an end-of-wave reward pool of 2,500 ILV plus 20 ILV for every ETH spent on Wave 5 D1SKs.

Wave 5 also completed the ecosystem's full migration to zkEVM, enabling D1SK minting, bonding, and chest openings on the new chain. The broader Set 1 leaderboard continues running alongside Wave 5, with 625 ILV distributed weekly to the top 200 collectors.

Fast ForWorld and Motorverse: The Infrastructure Behind the Collab

Fast ForWorld is Automobili Lamborghini's dedicated web3 hub, built by Gravitaslabs and backed by Animoca Brands' Motorverse division. The platform launched its first version on November 7, 2024, with interoperable Lamborghini Revuelto NFTs minted on Coinbase's L2 blockchain Base.

Motorverse is a global open ecosystem for digital vehicles, racing games, and motorsport culture operated by Animoca Brands. It provides interoperable digital car assets, known as Universal Digital Assets (UDAs), which retain persistent identity and functionality across supported titles including Torque Drift 2, REVV Racing, Wilder World, and now Illuvium: Beyond.

Lamborghini's partnership with Animoca Brands marked the automaker's first interoperable blockchain-based implementation of its vehicles in gaming. Since then, the collaboration has expanded to include the Temerario and GT3 NFT collections in Wilder World and a TON Blockchain initiative. The Illuvium Wave 5 collab represents the brand's entry into the auto-battler and NFT collectible space.

Illuvium: Beyond and the Broader Ecosystem

Beyond is directly connected to Illuvium Arena, the auto-battler title at the center of the ecosystem's competitive scene. The Motorverse Cup leverages Arena's Gauntlet mode, where players deploy squads of Illuvials in tactical turn-based combat.

Illuvium Arena is currently running Competitive Season 1 alongside the Wave 5 sale period. Earlier this year, Illuvium held its first Test Tournament in July 2025 with 100 ILV on the line for 32 players. The broader Illuvium Pro League 2025 featured a $250,000 prize pool distributed across qualifier events and a Main Event finale in December.

The Lamborghini Wave 5 sale opens April 21 at 13:00 UTC, with a Launch Party beginning 15 minutes before. The sale closes May 5, 2026 at 13:00 UTC. The entire collection is limited, with no reissue planned after the window ends.
