Gala Games is set to deliver an ambitious metaverse project in partnership with Unity Technologies and Gallium studios. This deal which is worth $20M signifies that Unity Technologies will apply its development and real-time 3D platform expertise to create VOXverse, the metaverse of Gala games. 

Jason “BitBender” Brink, the president of blockchain at Gala Games said in a press release that “About 1.3 million players have been supporting Gala Games, and a total of 28 games are now in development”. He further discussed the behind-the-scenes events of the development of the VOXverse.

The company also gave hints to her community about the release of some impending  VOX packs. They will launch “VOX Souls” by the end of June, a feature which would determine what kind of character you play in the VOXverse. Another feature is the VOX Idle, an old, adventurous text-based game which will be launched on Discord in July.

The team is confident about the success of this deal. In addition, they have the assurance that Unity’s Accelerate Solutions expertise would support Gala’s development of VOXverse and establish an interoperable, immersive and ever-evolving virtual world. Moreso, they believe Wright and his Gallium studios team will bring in design sensibilities to create a unique VOX world that goes beyond the metaverse for players to enjoy maximum digital experience. 

Furthermore, Gala Games will announce more plans on VOX entertainment vision at Galaverse in Malta. The event will be from June 6-8. The event will grace the publication of more games from the company. The team also announced they would provide the “Watch/Listen/Play to Earn” approach by uniting their subsidiary companies: Gala Games, Gala Music and recently launched Gala films.
