DFZ Labs has unveiled its latest project, "Bits." DFZ Labs is the creative force behind the acclaimed NFT collection Deadfellaz and the RIP TCG digital card game.
New Collection And Collaborations
This new collection will introduce 10,000 unique Bitcoin Ordinals inscriptions. It will capture the nostalgic green pixel aesthetic reminiscent of the original Nintendo Game Boy. Alongside this launch, DFZ Labs introduces a novel game development incubator. It is set to revolutionize how gamers engage with and profit from their Bitcoin assets.
Collaboration and innovation lie at the heart of this endeavor. DFZ Labs will team up with infrastructure startup OrdinalsBot for the inscription process. It is also selecting Xverse as their preferred Bitcoin wallet partner. What distinguishes Bits from previous projects is its independent branding. This is spearheaded by members of the Deadfellaz community. And the DFZ Labs co-founders Betty and Psych assuming roles as mentors and advisors.
This unique structure aims to position Bits as a flagship Bitcoin IP. It leverages the crypto's strengths to create an ecosystem that fosters collaboration among Ordinals holders. Past endeavors focused solely on creating new Deadfellaz on Bitcoin. However, Bits prioritizes building a gaming ecosystem that incentivizes contributions. This will facilitate synergy between the gaming and Bitcoin communities.
Bits Airdrop
The team envisions developing a "roguelite" game that blends elements from diverse genres. What sets this game apart is its innovative modular system. This empowers Bits holders to craft and integrate their own distinct content. Rewards are offered for their contributions, thereby enriching the overall gaming experience.
In anticipation of the launch, DFZ Labs conducted a community snapshot. It will give 500 Bits inscriptions via airdrop to top Deadfellaz collectors, and contributors. This gesture underscores the studio's dedication to rewarding its loyal community.
The much-anticipated launch of the Bits collection is scheduled for February 13th on Magic Eden's Bitcoin marketplace.
