CyberVerse has added its first structured seasonal progression layer with the launch of the Neo-Pass, a 50-tier reward system that turns regular gameplay into a token-earning sprint. The indie Web3 MMORPG set in the pixel-art cyberpunk world of Cyberia City went live with the new season on March 4, 2026, introducing a premium and free tier alongside a leaderboard exclusive to Neo-Pass holders.
The Neo-Pass operates on a straightforward EXP-based structure. Players earn experience through in-game activities, pushing their character up through 50 tiers of seasonal rewards. Each tier unlocks items including in-game resources, NFTs, coins, and seasonal loot. For players who choose the premium path, an additional competitive leaderboard opens up, with extra rewards distributed in $CYPX, $RON, and $ERG across the top positions.
A Multi-Token Reward Pool
The inclusion of all three tokens as leaderboard rewards reflects CyberVerse's multi-chain identity. $CYPX, known in-game as CyberPixels, is the project's native in-game currency and Ergo-based token with an original supply of 570 million, a portion of which has already been burned. $ERG is the native coin of the Ergo blockchain, which was the first chain CyberVerse launched on in 2023. $RON is the native token of the Ronin Network, the gaming-focused blockchain that CyberVerse expanded to most recently, where the CyberCitizen GEN4 collection of 3,000 playable NFT characters was launched.
The combination positions the Neo-Pass as a reward layer that feeds into each of the game's three active ecosystems simultaneously, giving players on any supported chain a meaningful stake in the seasonal competition.
To celebrate the Neo-Pass launch, CyberVerse is running a giveaway of one free Neo-Pass. Players can enter by following the game's official account, liking and reposting the launch announcement, and dropping a Ronin wallet address in the replies. A winner will be selected within 48 hours of the announcement.
About CyberVerse
CyberVerse is a browser-based Web3 MMORPG developed by a small indie team and set in Cyberia City, a futuristic dystopian metropolis playable directly through a web browser without downloads. The game launched on the Ergo blockchain in 2023 before expanding to Cardano in 2024 and subsequently to Ronin, where the GEN4 NFT collection brought the game to a new player base.
The game blends open-world exploration with a player-driven economy and a range of skill-based mini-games including car racing, DJing, mining, fishing, farming, and crafting. Players gather resources, trade items through a community marketplace, and interact with rotating NPC merchants. The economy is primarily denominated in $CYPX, used for marketplace transactions, item purchases, and various in-game services. The game supports both free-to-play users, who access a generic default character, and NFT holders who own CyberCitizen characters across four generations, with NFT ownership providing progression advantages, daily rewards, and personalized character names.
Additional owned assets in the game include CyberCars for the racing mini-game, rechargeable NFT tools like Cyberium and Ergonium Jackhammers used for mining, customizable NFT apartments, and VIP Membership Cards that grant casino benefits, voting rights, and fee-free token withdrawals.
The Neo-Pass marks the game's first formalized seasonal structure, building a recurring competitive calendar on top of its otherwise open-ended progression. With 50 tiers per season and leaderboard competition across three live tokens, it adds a time-bounded layer of engagement that the pixel-art onchain title has not offered in previous updates.
