After partnering with ChainGPT for an upcoming special season, LitLab Games has now revealed details on how the Web2 mobile version of their blockchain autobattler, CyberTitans, will work.

What’s Different in the Mobile Version?

The mobile version, set to launch on Android and iOS devices, will be a Web2 variant of the Web3 strategy title that is currently available for free on PC through the Elixir Launcher, though the official announcement does mention that there will be a “possibility and permanent priority that any user who wants to can earn all the accumulated money.”

To facilitate this focus on Web2 and make the game as accessible as possible to a wider audience, LitLab Games is introducing LOTT.

What Is LOTT?

LOTT is the Web2 version of $LITT introduced in order to “extend the reach of CyberTitans’ content across all platforms.” It’s designed to help reach more users and make the game overall easier to jump into for everyone, potentially leading to a larger playerbase.

This in-game currency will be visible in the wallet section of the player’s profile, and the official post states that it will be possible to convert to $LITT. The amount of $LITT you will receive will of course depend on $LITT’s market value at the time of conversion. While this will be possible, it seems you won’t be able to turn your $LITT into LOTT, so if you want to use your $LITT, you will have to stick to the Web3 version as only on your Web3 account will the tokens remain visible and usable. However, despite this difference, that doesn’t mean that there won’t be cross-platform support.

Cross-Platform Support

Fortunately, cross-platform support is officially confirmed, meaning that both PC and mobile players will be able to play against each other in Free Matches, LITT Matches, Tournaments. When it comes to LITT Matches and Tournaments, this does mean that the rewards you receive will depend on the version you play on. If you’re on Web3, then you will receive LITT, but if you’re on Web2, then you will get LOTT instead. The developers tease that some new ideas for game modes are on the way, and that both platforms will share matchmaking for those as well.
