The Final Arena Battles
Crabada, a play-and-earn game on Avalanche, has finally announced the launch of its Final Arena Battles. Before this announcement, the team shared some insights into their plans for the in-game NFTs and closure of the Swimmer network.
The Final Battles began on the 24th of April 2023, will continue for the next three weeks in the Crabada Arena, and will end on the 14th of May 2023, 12:00 PM UTC. These competitions have much higher stakes, prizes, and a larger distribution of winners. In addition, a part of the remnant proceeds from Diamond Treasury will be distributed to the prize pools for the final battles.
To accommodate more winners, both the rewards and player distribution have been increased, with a prize pool of 20,050 USDC.
Weekly Mechanics and Rewards System
The team has also created specific mechanics and a weekly reward system with different rules. The first week began on the 24th of April and will end on the 30th of April. Participants are to compete for the top 100 spots and an opportunity to share from a 5,000 $USDC prize pool. In addition, participants will participate at a maximum of level 1 with no factional advantage. A different amount of Arena points will be deducted when a player is defeated, depending on the tier the player is in.
The second week will run from the 1st to the 7th May, with a prize pool of 5,000 USDC to be shared among the 100 winners. Players will participate at a maximum limit of level 100 and with no factional advantage. The Arena tickets will be filled up every 30 minutes so that players can have a maximum of 6 tickets.
The final week will run from the 9th to the 14th of May, with a prize pool of 10,050 $USDC to be shared among 200 players.
