Blockchain farming game Continuum World has received an updated roadmap containing info on the new launch date for First Settlers Season 1 alongside some info on other milestones.
Updated Roadmap – New Season 1 Details
According to the new roadmap, First Settlers Season 1 is now planned to launch in Q2 2024, with May being the month the team is looking to start the season in. Because of the delay the season has endured, the team has decided to make this season “more complete than we originally planned.”
This means that players can look forward to a completely new land ecology, alongside new crucial systems such as crafting and new buildings. The first season will also be longer in comparison to First Explorers, with the duration set to be around 3 or 4 months in order for the developers to have enough time to commit to working on the second season “without any interruptions.” In any case, the official post states that Season 1 “will feel way more like a complete version of the game” than First Explorers did, so the team will also focus on marketing efforts in order to onboard new users.
New Website

Before the season launches though, the team will first publish a new website, which is almost ready to go live. The initial plan was to release it together with the new season, but the team has now decided to go with the website first, which just needs a bit more polishing before it officially goes live at some point during this week. The new website will feature an updated roadmap and new images replacing the old ones which are said to no longer represent the current visual style of the Web3 title.
Other milestones in the roadmap include a Season 1 update and the launch of the Resources Marketplace, after which the team will focus on Season 2 and afterwards Season 3. In Season 2, players can look forward to Birdum egg hatching and a Legendary Gems system, while the third season will include Birdum PvP and Ladder rewards systems. No timeframes are available for these milestones for the time being.
In the same announcement, the developers also provided a Q&A to answer various questions from the community, for which you can find out more about by heading to the Medium post linked in the official tweet.
