Bounties represent a new feature coming to Solana-backed MMORPG looter shooter Earth From Another Sun (EFAS) in the form of a 30-day limited-time event, starting on July 24th and ending on August 23rd.

What Are Bounties?

Bounties are designed to challenge players in conquering Rifts to earn Bounty Crates containing various rewards. A Daily Bounty is completed by doing 3 Rift Challenges every day. These daily challenges can involve any type of Rift, and once you get to level 5 in-game to unlock Rift Challenges, you won’t need to worry about any other level restriction to start completing them. After you’re done with the in-game challenges for the day, you should head to the official Bounties page every day to manually claim your rewards. Prizes aren’t awarded automatically, so it’s important to claim your earned Bounty Crates each day.

Your Bounty Status determines the type of Bounty Crates you can claim. The Standard Bounty Crates are available for non-Passport NFT holders, while EFAS Passport NFT owners can claim Elite Bounty Crates based on the number of Passports owned, so if you have 5 Passports in your wallet, you can claim 5 Elite variants.

The Bounties Board resets every day at 00:00 UTC, and any unfinished progress or unclaimed rewards will be lost. Everyone’s Commander status is also reset in order to recalculate the number of EFAS Passport NFTs held by each wallet and thus determine who is eligible for Elite Bounty Crates.

What Are the Prizes?

Bounty Crates are said to contain up to 20 $SOL, high-rarity weapons, whitelists (both guaranteed and first come first serve types) and more. Here’s the full breakdown for both Standard and Elite crates:

How to Participate

If you want to join in on this limited-time event, you’ll have to enter the game’s quest-based airdrop platform, the Kepler Citizenship Program, where you must do the Daily Check-In 7 days in a row to gain access to the alpha version of the sci-fi Web3 FPS. It looks like the Daily Check-In will begin when the event starts. Alternatively, you may be lucky enough to get an activation code through social events (such as in this recently announced treasure hunt), or you can buy an EFAS Citizenship Passport NFT on Magic Eden for early access and other in-game and community benefits, such as NFT airdrops, whitelists, access to exclusive events and potentially more.  The floor price at the time of writing is 2.741 $SOL (~$497).

Checking-In also rewards you with one Bounty Shard a day. With 5 shards, you can successfully craft both types of Bounty Crates, so you also have an opportunity to earn rewards not only via gameplay but also through this simple check-in method. If you can though, it’s probably best to jump into the blockchain game itself to get the most fun and rewards out of this event. Here are the minimum and recommended system requirements:
