7 Digital Labs, the company creating 5v5 tactical hero shooter BloodLoop, has announced that they have successfully raised $4 million in a seed funding round to help them complete the development of their Web3 title while supporting its growth for a successful launch period.

A variety of notable investors took part in this funding round, with the ones leading the round being the Avalanche Foundation, Merit Circle and Citizen Capital (investment arm of Neo Tokyo), while other participants include GameFi Ventures, GD10 Capital, Oracles Investment Group, Dutch Crypto Investors, and more. Various partners and angels also took part, including Seedify and Alex Becker, among many others.

In an official press release, the Head of Gaming at Ava Labs, Ed Chang, said the following:

"We have been watching and following the development of BloodLoop since the team behind the game took their first steps, and it is amazing to see the progress they have made over the past three years. We are very excited that the team has decided to entrust the game's blockchain infrastructure to Avalanche's network. Bloodloop is a game that has all the ingredients to become one of the best up-and-coming web3 hero shooters on the market. They have our full support, and we are thrilled to be among their investors".

The Swiss-based studio has managed to attract more than 350k registered users in only two weeks for the upcoming closed beta version of their free-to-play title, set to be available in the coming months. Their first game will be powered by an Avalanche Subnet in order to enable a user-friendly onboarding experience for both Web2 and Web3 gamers.
