In preparation for an alpha testing, metaverse basketball game, Basketballverse has highlighted new development regarding its game mechanics. Over the next few months, the team will release developmental updates for players to stay informed. Basketballverse has crafted new strategies and implemented new solutions to elevate the offensive gameplay experience.
During previous tests, players had issues with the passing mechanics. The faulty control mechanism was responsible for fewer passes during games. Basketballverse has revamped the general passing mechanics, allowing players to easily pass the ball in different directions. A few players complained about the shooting system. In response to their complaint, the team improved the shooting system thereby providing a more robust gaming experience. Just like a real-life basketball game, Basketballverse introduced dunking. The newly-introduced game mechanics will give players a new attack style, and defense mechanics, bringing more excitement to the game.
The game has focused on creating a balance between player skills and abilities. Early testers complained that there are in-game imbalances due to the presence of extra strong characters and abilities. The development is in progress as such changes take time to evaluate and implement. Basketballverse also introduced dashing, allowing players to skip past blocks and zoom past opponents. It could also be helpful in rebound recoveries. The dashing feature is dependent on a timer and not the stamina.
Basketballverse Community Events
Players are advised to participate in Basketballverse community events, especially their Discord League. They can earn rewards that would make their experience more thrilling and lively. The metaverse basketball game has organized as a series of weekly with about 170 participants in June. Participating in community activities like this boosts players’ XP on Discord. The team has hinted that the next series of quizzes will come from the latest game update. Players can sign up for the upcoming alpha testing via Basketballverse ’s website.
