Web3 gaming platform Artyfact has launched its first official Play and Earn tournament, where players can compete for a share of a $30,000 prize pool. Participation is completely free, and anyone who downloads the game from the Epic Games Store can jump in right away. The tournament runs until September 28.

This marks the first test season of Artyfact's new competitive format, called Leaderboard Rush. All players can compete simply by playing matches, earning in-game points known as ArtyPoints (AP), and climbing the seasonal leaderboard.

Play and Earn in Artyfact

To take part in the tournament, players need to earn ArtyPoints. These are awarded in several ways during matches. Each kill is worth 1 AP. Winning a match gives a bonus 25 AP. Extra points are also available during capture events, where players get small amounts for holding and activating key areas on the map.

ArtyPoints determine your place on the leaderboard. The higher you rank, the larger your reward. The top player of the season will walk away with $1,500. Second place gets $700, and third place earns $550. Players ranked from 4th to 50th each get $100. Those ranked 51st to 100th will receive $55. What's more, 900 randomly selected participants will each earn $22 just for taking part.

Anyone can earn points for free. But players can also boost their total AP by holding official Artyfact NFTs. These include jetpacks, weapons, and Legend characters in different rarities. For instance, an epic-tier Legend NFT adds 9,900 AP to your score instantly. The bonuses vary by item and rarity, with uncommon items starting at 2,200 AP each.

What Is Artyfact?

Artyfact is a free to play web3 gaming metaverse that combines fast-paced shooter gameplay with NFT ownership and crypto-based rewards. The platform is powered by Unreal Engine 5 and runs on the Binance Smart Chain. Its native token is $ARTY, a deflationary currency used for staking, purchases, and rewards.

The game is now live on the Epic Games Store. New users don't need a wallet or crypto experience. Instead, each player is given a built-in "Artyfact Wallet" when they join.

Game Modes and Combat Features

The game offers several shooter-style multiplayer modes: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Battle Royale, and Control. These modes support both solo and team-based combat. What makes Artyfact different is its mix of advanced combat tools and map design.

Players can use adaptive jetpacks to fly across areas, dodge fire, and surprise enemies. Some vehicles can transform into heavy turrets or cross terrain like rivers, turning basic transportation into combat tools. There are also scattered skill drops placed across maps. These give players special attacks or powers when picked up.

This creates high-speed, reactive gameplay. No two matches feel the same.

The Dragon Kalash and NFT Cosmetics

Other than the tournament, Artyfact has teased a new NFT skin called the Dragon Kalash. This exclusive weapon features a gold-and-crimson design with a dragon head at the barrel, built to represent control and power. It will be part of an upcoming NFT collection released on the Base network.

Player Experience Modeling (PEM)

Artyfact also uses an AI system called Player-Experience Modeling, or PEM. This technology tracks each player's behavior and skill level. Based on this data, it adapts gameplay challenges, making the game easier for new players and more demanding for skilled users. It's designed to keep all players engaged, no matter their background or experience level.

Revenue Sharing and Token Utility

According to the whitepaper, Artyfact is more than just a shooter. It's a full metaverse with NFT revenue sharing. Half of all NFT sales are used to fund prize pools like the current tournament. This makes every purchase part of the game's reward cycle.

Players can also stake $ARTY tokens, vote on ecosystem changes through the DAO, and join events like loot box drops. Since the token is deflationary, 10% of NFT sale revenue is burned, helping to control the total supply over time.

At present, $ARTY trades on several platforms including Bybit, KuCoin, PancakeSwap, and OKX. There is a max supply of 25 million tokens, with around 24 million in circulation.

Artyfact USDT Airdrop Still Ongoing

Alongside the tournament, Artyfact is also running a separate event: a massive USDT airdrop campaign. With a total prize pool of 35,000 USDT, players and fans can win by joining community tasks and spreading the word.

There are 1,500 winners in total. The top 500 referrers will share 10,000 USDT, while another 1,000 random users who complete all entry steps will split the remaining 25,000 USDT. The steps are simple: start the Telegram bot, follow the Artyfact X account, repost the pinned tweet (see here), and join the Telegram and Discord channels.

This airdrop ends on August 11. Winners will start receiving their rewards on August 15.
