The Galactic Hubs program of sci-fi metaverse Alien Worlds has announced that they have launched Target Community Grants, through which the goal is to further engage the community by supporting fans who would like to expand upon existing lore.
Lore Creation Category
Lore Creation is the first available category through this new grant program through which the community is encouraged to create their own stories inspired by the lore set out by renowned sci-fi author Kevin J. Anderson. With this category, Galactic Hubs is supporting those who would like to contribute to this metaverse’s lore, opening the opportunity for the community to shape the narrative in various ways.
Participation Guide
Anyone who would like to participate can do so by writing a story between 1000 – 2000 words long. The text should be based on the available foundational lore and as such should include familiar elements such as Trilium. Once finished, you can send in your submission using this Google form, which is also linked in the official announcement. Your submission will be reviewed by the lore team of studio Dacoco, from whom you might receive feedback and revision requests. Stories that get accepted will be stored in a library of content, awarding you with a Galactic Hubs grant. When the Tokenized Lore voting feature goes live, the community will have a chance to vote on accepted stories to decide whether they should become canon to Alien Worlds lore.
Full details, example topics, as well as useful lore links can be found in the official post.
