Aavegotchi has unveiled five major developments set to shape the Aavegotchi ecosystem next year. The pioneering blockchain-based gaming platform is ready for significant infrastructural advancement in 2024.

AGC and GHST Staking

Aavegotchi Gaming Console (AGC) takes center stage next year. The console is positioned as a comprehensive suite of services on the Gotchichain. AGC is designed to enhance the gaming experience by incorporating awesome features. These includes a unified player profile with Digital Identity technology and cross-game progression. There will also be a game launcher, and integrated marketplace, and a loyalty program. The aim is to position Aavegotchis as versatile "crypto companions" across various games.

GHST Staking 2.0 emerges as a pivotal initiative to augment the utility of GHST, the primary eco-governance token. This approach introduces a dual-token staking mechanism. The mechanism utilizes both GHST and GLTR tokens, with rewards distributed in ETH. GHST Staking 2.0 is set to be presented to the DAO in early 2024.

Special NFT Mint Event

Aavegotchi plans a special NFT Mint event in celebration of AGC and Gotchichain's launch. This event involves the sale and airdrop of NFTs. Although not mandatory, it will play a crucial role in the achievement and rewards system of Pixelcraft Studios’ games. The aim is to foster play-to-own incentives and gamified achievements.

New gaming titles are in the pipeline, including Gotchiverse3D, Spirit Force Arena, and Gotchi Guardians. The portfolio expansion also includes titles like Licky’s Escape and other games. Aavegotchi will collaborate with gaming studios and support for community games utilizing AGC.

The Baazaar marketplace, Aavegotchi's native store, has witnessed over 52 million GHST in trading volume. With the introduction of AGC, the Baazaar is set to undergo further expansion and decentralization. This evolution enables games within Aavegotchi to offer their NFT collections on the marketplace. This opens up diverse possibilities for creating and trading skins, power-ups, avatars, and more.
