Connecting a wallet and creating a SolSlay account is free, and the platform offers a Faucet, Quests, and a referral program to help players get started. However, the core Jackpot game modes require placing bets in SOL or SLY, so participating in those rounds involves staking real funds.
In SolSlay you earn by winning Jackpot rounds, where the selected winner takes the entire pot, and through Boss Battle, where rewards are distributed based on your damage rank against shared bosses. Players can also earn via Quests, the Faucet, and the referral program. Payouts are sent directly to your connected Solana wallet.
SolSlay runs entirely on the Solana blockchain. Solana's fast confirmations and low transaction fees make it well suited for live game rounds and frequent reward payouts.
SolSlay uses two currencies across the platform: SOL, Solana's native cryptocurrency, and SLY, the platform's own token issued as an SPL token on Solana. Both can be used in the Jackpot game modes.
Jackpot is SolSlay's main PvP mode where players bet SOL or SLY into a shared pot. Once two or more players join, a 90-second round begins, and an algorithm selects a winner with odds proportional to each player's bet size. The winner receives the entire pot instantly to their wallet.
Boss Battle is a cooperative SolSlay mode where players team up to attack powerful bosses. Attacks use energy that regenerates over time, and players earn SOL and SLY based on their damage ranking. Upgrading your hero increases your damage and potential rewards.
SolSlay is a browser-based platform accessed by connecting a Solana wallet such as Phantom, Solflare, or any supported wallet adapter. A dedicated mobile app is listed on the project roadmap but was not yet released at the time of writing.
To start playing SolSlay, connect a supported Solana wallet and sign a quick message to confirm ownership, which automatically creates your account. There are no emails, passwords, or lengthy registration steps. Once connected, you can join Jackpot rounds, Boss Battle, Quests, and the Faucet.
SolSlay is a non-custodial Solana platform where you authorize each bet by signing a transaction with your own wallet, a standard Web3 security practice. Because the Jackpot modes involve betting real cryptocurrency on chance-based outcomes, players should treat it as a wagering activity and only risk funds they can afford to lose.
