Pikamoon is a 3D gaming world set in the mystical world of Dreva (a virtual world of the Pikaverse metaverse). Based on the Ethereum blockchain, its gameplay is centred around multiplayer battle arena (MOBA) and Play-to-Earn (P2E) dynamics.
Making this possible is Dreva’s population of unique Pikamoon NFTs (non-fungible tokens), which are each sworn to one of its six in-conflict elemental factions - Earth, Rock, Water, Fire, Air, and Thunder.
With the Pikaverse’s native PIKA ($PIKA) as the reward, players are tasked with pitting teams of Pikamoon NFTs against each other within Dreva’s Player-versus-Player (PvP) Battle Arena - or against AI in offline modes.
3D MOBA gameplay then decides the outcome, with a PIKA prize pot being proportionally distributed to winners and losers. Such digital currency can then be spent in the Pikamoon Store for NFT upgrade potions and boosts, or swapped/sold on crypto currency exchanges.
Pikamoon NFTs are also tradable in the Pikamoon Store and across NFT marketplaces. These assets come in four tiers of rarity - ‘Baby,’ ‘Normal,’ ‘Rare’ and ‘God’ - with each reflecting a different level of combat proficiency.
The developer behind Pikamoon is none other than Kevuru Games- an esteemed gaming entity which has helped pioneer popular Web3 and Web3 titles such as Fortnite, Star Wars, Iron Order, Undead Blocks, and more. Alongside in-house development team: Orbit Cosmos.
Pikamoon is currently in its Beta Phase, with a full launch date TBA in Q4 2024. In an effort to maximise accessibility, all versions of the game feature both online and offline modes, and can be downloaded on Android and iOS.
